The efficient structure of the KSB, Konsortium Südtiroler Baumschuler, cares of the production and distribution of the budwoods for our member companies (according to the provincial law of 23/03/1981 nr. 8 about the certification in tree nurseries). We make sure that the best variety material reaches the nurseries and then the farmers. Other tasks: management of the varieties and clones - development of the existing varieties - takeover and management of the multiplication licenses of patented varieties - administrative work for our members - cooperation with the Landesamt für Obst- und Weinbau, the Research Centre Laimburg, the Südtiroler Beratungsring, the SK Südtirol VOG and Vi.P. (Association of South Tyrolean fruit growers' cooperatives) and international institutes.
